Given the positive response to my poll, here's my latest video from a few days ago (those on G+ and fb have likely already seen it)

And this video, not many people have watched, so if you care to, could you give insight into why that might be? )

Probably people have a harder time predicting what "experimental paint dance" is going to be, as opposed to the other one where the freeze-frame screen makes it pretty clear. (Remember that people aren't deciding not to click based on what's actually in the tin, because anyone who knows what's in the tin has by definition already clicked. :) )

I thought the painting one was fascinating -- as someone with only a rudimentary knowledge of painting, watching the process backwards was, I think, even more interesting than watching it forwards, and got me thinking harder about how the painter creates particular effects. I also liked the music though I don't have a strong opinion about how the music and the visual interact.

Also, how cool is it to live in the modern age and be able to play duets with yourself? :)

I agree with harder time predicting. And I wonder if people may see "experimental" and think it will be something avant garde that makes no sense to them. One hook would be that there's painting in reverse: it that's in the title, people might say oh, I wonder what that looks like. (I am told you'll get a lot more clicks from an attractive image than from attractive text, but I have no idea how to communicate time reversal in the freeze frame...)

Not ignoring the music, but that reversal was what grabbed me. The moment of unmaking the seagulls gave me a weird sensation to see, it was really kind of creepy.

Hm, ok, I'll change the title. Thanks.

I didn't watch it because I didn't see it until just now.

FB hides posts. G+ less so, but still...

Eric and I watched the duet... And then watched the unpainting one! I don't remember seeing a link to that one before...

I look forward to hearing as you learn the drum more... The duet sounded really neat :)

Thank you for both of those. I don't watch videos often; I tend to save them up and then forget. I loved both the duet and the unpainting.
