Yip! Yip! [Video/Open Action]

[It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a really...big fuzzy creature in the air. Aang cares not for all the flowers and plants down on the ground. He's sailing through the sky, sitting by Appa's head.]

I can't wait for everyone to see you again, Appa! [Smiles happily and lets go of the reigns for a moment so he can hug some of that fuzzy goodness.] It

I see you got your bison.

[Good thing the gardens are big enough to accommodate Appa's massive size. Zuko comes out of the shop within moments of feeling the rumble of the flying bison's landing. He approaches the giant beast cautiously unsure of how Appa would react to him or if Appa even remembers how he had helped free him.]

You there?

[Zuko stops a few feet off to the side of Appa, eyes lifted.]

[Appa turns his head to the side when he hears Zuko approach and then he goes back to resting his head on his arm. Appa doesn't seem to grow tense or do anything that indicates he's feeling hostile towards Zuko. In fact, he probably would have shown some enthusiasm if he wasn't so comfy.

Aang sits up and then motions for Zuko to join him up on Appa.]

Hey, Zuko. I'm up here.

[pyromatics]

[Zuko on the other hand sends Appa another somewhat apprehensive glance and then looks back up to the Avatar. Is he serious? Aang wants him to climb the flying bison?]

Uh... Right. Okay.

[Hesitantly steps closer and reaches out to grab a thick tuft of fur. Zuko pauses and side glances at Appa, waiting for him to do something. He tugs on the fur and very slowly reaches up to grab some more before beginning to make the climb.

Really, Zuko tries not to hurt him as he goes, mumbling apologies the entire way up for each handful of fur he grabs hold of.]

[Appa lets out a few low roars but he doesn't seem to mind over all. Noms lightly on some grass and then he returns to snoozing.]

Don't worry about Appa, he's pretty tough.

[Flashes him a quick smile. He contemplates saying something else but opts to let Zuko do the talking instead. However, he does continue to smile at him and attempts to turn it into a reassuring smile.]

[The roars work in somewhat scaring the firebender who scrambles up hastily to reach the top. Once there Zuko lowers himself down to sit with his knees folded beneath him, hands curled in fists over his thighs. It's a position of apology, he understands and has for some time since the day that he arrived that what he had done to the Avatar and his friends had been wrong.]

I... Yeah. I guess he is.

[Zuko remembers the day he found him beneath Ba Sing Se, but that just opens up a whole new can of memories and he averts his eyes even with Aang trying to reassure him with those smiles.]

[Pats Appa on the head as the skybison drifts off into a peaceful sleep. He can sense Zuko's unease and wishes he could help him feel more at ease, but he suspects that the only thing that will help with that is getting the conversation going.

Nods his head in agreement with Zuko and then gives him a look that says Zuko now has all of Aang's attention.]
