Duo had never done well with silence.
He wandered up to the house, only slightly favoring the leg that had gotten it in the knee, wiping oil from his face with a rag that basically just spread the oil around.

He was heavy, anyway. And now that he was less concussed he tended to put up a fight.
"Thought you were sleeping in today?" he called, taking extreme, distracted care to set tea aside.

"I mean, comparatively speaking? I totally did." He absently tugged on his braid as he started up the stairs, then sat on them.
"I've only been up for like fifteen minutes. I just wanted to... I just had to check the yard."
