And it’s not my best week. Again. Last one was full of work, and then I’ve got ill. Lucky me!

But let’s talk about Jessica Jones! What a pleasure! I loved it so much and ready to discuss. And wanna do a Doctor Who rewatch once again ‘cause thanks God for Tennant, I’ve missed him so much! And I want a personal show for Trish! And…Ok, I really loved ( Read more... )

I just finished (like half an hour ago) Jessica Jones and I'm not sure what to think yet. It was good, but I would say I liked Daredevil a lot more. I really like Trish, too!
Tennant was so good at being creepy and evil.

I'd say Daredevil has more...hope (?) in it and avocados in law! I love the philosophy of it, while Jessica is more like a pretty good detective and has its own atmosphere. I mean I love music, the way it looks, I love her and Trish and creepy David, but it's like a first story just to introduce the character with the whole darkness, not more. But it's so intence. I think those episodes when Jessica was in her house with Killgrave and when she kept him locked...they made it brilliant. David was brilliant. And I love the whole oh fuck this all mood in Jessica she's fun. She's terribly broken but she can make you laugh.

The music was great and I love the title sequence with the painted look.
I love friendship between Matt and Foggy so much, so I'm glad we got something similar here with Jessica and Trish. You are right though, Daredevil is more positive and that kinda includes this friendship. The flashbacks in Daredevil were so much fun while in Jessica Jones we see how messed up their childhood was :/
The episode where Jessica lives in the house with Kilgrave was so well done! David's performance was awesome.
I feel like they could have added a little more of Jessica's attitude though to balance out all the dark and serious storylines. Maybe I'm just not used to something in the MCU being this dark and gloomy.

I was into Daredevil mostly because of Matt, to be honest, I haven't read anything about Daredevil, not a single issue, because he was too harsh or even boring from the first sight. But here I've seen a pretty interesting, calm and kind man, and I love his sense of humor and his sense of Foggy :D and mostly I love the story within him and a question of justice and religion. Maybe I'm too much into it 'cause hey once a lawyer always a lawyer but still you feel something...like "right" in this story, so Jessica looks not that deep around him. But I love the fact that it's a pretty different point of view you know. And it feels a little bit more like a comics world. And they need more Trish there she's so good! By the way, I wasn't that much into that lawyer woman, just a story, just a person...nothing more for now. And what do you think about Luke? I don't know how can they make a whole show around this character, to be honest, I even don't understand why they chose him.
