I REALLY liked this. A nice insight into eps I know so well. I so like Castle's curiosity getting the best of him, peeking in at Beckett then rushing back to the couch! So him. And this exchange:

The corners of her mouth twitch upward. "How can you forget I have a gun when I'm constantly threatening you with it?"

Castle leans in toward her. "I'm probably traumatized, blocking it out."

And I like the quiet note you left it on. Lovely. :)

I had the best picture in my head of Castle running back to the couch and throwing a pillow over his face (because in his mind that would totally help hide him from Beckett's wrath).

Thank you for reading!

This is beautiful. Boom! was my favourite episode ever, and though there's a lot of post-ep fic out there, I don't think there's much good fic... Well done, this is perfect

I confess that this:

The corners of her mouth twitch upward. "How can you forget I have a gun when I'm constantly threatening you with it?"

Castle leans in toward her. "I'm probably traumatized, blocking it out."

made me snicker A LOT!

Lovely work - as ever!
