My boyfriend seems to be having a mid-life crisis. I'm entirely sure what to do about it. Do these sort of things work themselves out eventually, or am I forever doomed to complaining about how he's so old and going to get wrinkles?

I don't think he's old, but I don't think he's going to listen to me about it either.

How frustrating.

My boyfriend has bouts of it sometimes, but they pass. I find it adorable when he complains about it though, don't ask me why.

I suggest just keep on reassuring him that he's still wonderful in your eyes no matter what he thinks of himself. It can be tedious, but I find that it helps. Cuddling with him while you do it does wonders too.

It is sort of adorable, I'll admit, to see him pouting a bit like a child. Truth hurts, does it not? He'll get over it, I'm sure.
