I suspect I'm the only person in the world who's not watching the Olympics. I have other things on my mind and schedule.

I've read a little in the paper, but I haven't been watching any of it. As if I had the time.

Besides, I don't own a television, they're a waste of money.

... not to be noisy, but how has Cross been treating you? Hopefully he's not too much of a pain in the backside for you.

I haven't even gone that far. Sports don't interest me in the slightest, Credo-san.

Television is alright, I suppose, but one must be careful about what they watch. It seems like Raenaf spends most of his time glued to it these days. It's a battle to get him to turn it off and go do something healthier like schoolwork or go outside.

...

If you don't mind my asking, how is it you know, and what concern is it of yours?

(ooc: Defensive!muse is randomly defensive. ._. No idea why.)

Television was fine way back when they first came out... not that I'm old enough to have been around when that happened. Now they're merely babysitting devices for parents and play worthless nonsense on them twenty-four seven.

Cross and I work together closely... and were... good friends... I hear a bit about it sometimes. I was just curious, as his past as a playboy makes me wonder how good he'd be for really settling down with someone.

I'm not either, but I think it would be nice for programming to only be allowed between certain hours. Any parent who would allow an electronic device to raise or entertain their child instead of doing it themselves can't really claim the title of "parent." It's much healthier to do without the television and develop a good relationship.

...I see. Everything is fine. I had thought for awhile he had been seeing somebody else, but it turned out to be nothing of the sort. He treats me incredibly well... it's not what I had expected, but I'm definitely not going to complain about it.

Nah, I gave up on it. My patriotic flare died away at the pathetic amount of medals.

Though saying that, I'm not entirely sure who I should be patriotic towards.

Ah.

No clue at all?

Cross... why is Credo interested in how you're treating me?

Well, I think I was born in Norway. But I moved around a lot until recently, so my memory of that is a little...er fuzzy.

...How should I do? He's probably checking to see what I'm up to when I'm not at work.

You think? Shouldn't it say on your birth certificate or something?

...Hm. His response made less sense than yours did. Something about you settling down.

Not the only one, darling~ There're much more interesting things to be wasting time with.

Plus, the winter Olympics are much better in my opinion.

I agree. There just doesn't seem to be much appeal in a bunch of hot, sweaty, sun-burned athletes as there is for the winter Olympics.

Of course, I'm sure those hot, sweaty, sun-burned athletes are the only reason a lot of people watch the summer Olympics...
