Nooo!! What a place to leave off!

Like that Jack realizes he needs to be more cautious, but is it too late? Time for Jim to come to the rescue, I guess.

You didn't like my cliffhanger, Susan? *snicker*

Jim to the rescue? Hmmmmm. Guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks as always for reading and leaving such enthusiastic comments. Hope your story is going well too.

Love, Debra.

Hi, Susan,

What? Did I leave at an inconvenient place in the story. Glad you enjoyed the chapter. I've been a little tardy with my next post so I just put up Chapters 6 & 7 for a total of about 8000 words. Whew! I'm tired.

Hope you have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

Love, Debra.

oh dear. it looks like jack won't be able to get out of town fast enough to avoid a beating. he's all ready leaving, you don't have to do this!

and why hasn't jack contacted ennis? it seems a shame that he hasn't kept in closer touch given the momentous changes in their relationship.

Hey, gr. Glad you're still reading and that you think I might have inserted a bit of angst into the mix. Why hasn't Jack contacted Ennis? Hmm. Maybe this chapter will answer that question.

Just posted Chapters 6 and 7 for a total of about 8000 words. Hopefully, that makes up for my being a bit tardy with my next chapter. Enjoy!

Love, Debra.

Okay well, Jack has played it slightly unsafe, but maybe just maybe if he keeps his head low he can get by with getting out of Texas before these three idiots find him and rough him up to the point of no return because well even though LD wants him just injured I think these three may go further without hesitation. I am wondering what Norwood has to do with this but he may have examined Jack and find knowledge of his habits. It bothers me that Ennis and Jack have not talked and well, Jim is correct he better step in quickly before it all falls apart. I really enjoy this and appreciate your continued work on this story. Hi, Joe.

Hope you're getting ready for a great Memorial Day Weekend. I haven't answered your question about Norwood yet, but that will be coming probably in Chapter 8. As always so glad you're continuing to read and enjoy. I love these guys and I know you do too.

Chapters 6 and 7 are up now for a total of about 8000 words. I've been a bit tardy in posting this month so I figured I owed everyone two chapters instead of one. :-)

Love, Debra.
