Kristen Stewart, 24, presented the Hollywood Actress Award to Julianne Moore for Still Alice.
Shailene Woodley, 22, won Breakthrough Performance Actress for The Fault in Our Stars. It was presented by Laura Dern, who played her mother in the movie. Shailene's acceptance speech: "How good does Laura [presenter Laura Dern] look right now? Just... so beautiful.Man, um, it's such an honor to be up here, because to do this film really, truly felt like such an honor in my life. Uh, John Green, the author of this book, created a character who at sixteen years old, recognizes that it's not about how long a life we leave, or the mark that we leave on the world that matters. It's about... it's about simple things, like gratitude and not taking anything for granted. She recognizes at a young age that regardless of the conditions we have in our lives -- whether they're physical, mental, spiritual, whatever -- um, they don't define us. We're not defined by... by our exterior situations, and I thought that that was truly remarkable. Every day, we wake up, and we're breathing, we're winning, so we all already have victories on our plate the second that we leave our pillows in the morning. She reminded me of that, in that simple truth, so thank you so much for this. Thank you, Fox, for having the bravery to make a film like this, and, uh, yeah, it's great to be here. Thanks, guys."
