[it's a typical, crisp fall day. The weather is cooling off, and the atmosphere of the forest is changing.

So what happened to San today was a bit of a surprise.

And now she's walking - limping - slowly into the village. Because she can't deny that she might actually...need the humans' help this time. Dying in defense of her home is one thing, to ( Read more... )

[Iroh catches the girl on her way in. His concern for the young girl - a familiar face, maybe - shows on his face as he approaches. The limp he sees, and is worried because no young girl should be needlessly harmed.]

Young lady, what happened?

[She only sort of remembers Iroh. He doesn't register as threat or 'friend.']

I'm looking for someone.

[Hm, not quite the answer he was looking for, but her tone of voice suggests he won't be getting it.]

May I help you? That limp tells me you won't get far alone.

Oi, San!

[Luffy's sitting on the roof of a house looking down at her limping.]

Are you okay!? Do you want me to go get Chopper!?

[Would he know? The last time she saw him, he seemed to not remember her.]

Where is he?

And now! To wait for Angel to get online. >.> gomugomunopwn October 3 2010, 19:12:53 UTC
[Oh wow, this is serious if she's willing to take help so easily.]

He's at home! Lemme go get him! Just stay here okay? [And off he goes roof jumping.]

[No, staying here could end up causing more of a problem. She's going to keep looking. He'll be able to find her again if he needs to]

[Consider yourself spotted. It's not too hard to notice that limp she has going there. He's had his own more than a few times from injuries, some heroically and some... well, best not mentioned.]

Whoa. San, what happened?

[Oh hey. Someone she knows and doesn't...really mind talking to. Usually.]

I'm injured. [apparently, beyond what she can deal with on her own]

[He guessed that. He's trying to figure out what exactly happened by peering at her limp leg.]

I can tell. How bad is it?

[There's actually not a lot to see.]

...

It was a snake.

[Uh oh! Hard to miss someone limping. Ceodore's seen her before, he's sure of it, but for the life of him can't remember her name. Hmm. Still, he can't just not help someone who seems to need it.]

H-hey! You okay?!

[He doesn't really look familiar. But she doesn't remember many people just out of apathy.]

I am looking for someone.

Ginko. Or Katara.

[Since Katara was apparently too hard for Sokka to find, it only makes sense that she's in one of her favorite places - the bridge by the forest. She's just paused for a moment to watch the river, but when San approaches she turns her head.]

San! [Limping. Not good. Oh no. Katara hurries over.] What happened?

[Oh finally. Someone she was actually looking for]

It was a snake.

[Her eyebrows draw together in concern.] That isn't good. Let me see what I can do. We might need to go to the clinic...

[She's already unclasping her waterskin as she moves forward, ready to do all she can.]

[sitting down seems to be the easiest thing to do right now. It's her right leg, above the ankle. ...She stepped on it.]

I won't go there.
