I have returned to the forest.

They are leaving new humans here. If they're yours, you should come for them.

[Since Moro has been on something of a rampage of sorts. It's a very tolerant sort of warning. Something about humans has changed.

...And later that day, San will make her way to the Avatar house to return the clothes she didn't realize she ( Read more... )

[...well, that was a warm welcome, wasn't it?

This whole notion of forcing humans out of the forest on some home-world grudge is making Sapphire pissy - she doesn't bother to reply through the journal. At some point in the day, she'll be resting in the fork of a tree about fifteen feet off the ground, just a few hundred feet on the forest side of the boundary as some form of stubborn protest.]

[That's probably the warmest welcome San's ever given anybody. There weren't any threats in it! Sapphire might catch San hunting though, from up in that tree.]

- oh wow okay I don't even know who you are but just won a million admiration points for that outfit. It is so cool. It's almost as cool as leaf-clothes. 83

[San turns and looks up. Something moved and...spoke? In the tree there.]

Who's there?

[in the forest, ehh?

Well, Ginko's been cleaning out (and staying in) the shelters spaced out through the forest, so it's likely they'll cross paths at some point. He's up pretty early, this morning-- splashing water over his face at the river.]

[The river is where she goes to drink, so...have a face with paint for the first time in more than a week, looking at you from upstream]

Ginko.

[he draws a hand across his mouth and looks up]

San....[questioning-- she certainly looks more herself. That paint...]

You know what happened to me.

[implying that someone else did not.]

[As usual, Scar is wandering the forest. Naturally, he's annoyed with all the new arrivals disrupting his usual wanderings. Especially after encountering some of the human ones and a few of the non human ones as well.]

[He may find San near the river, looking to spear a few fish. There aren't many worth eating, but she doesn't necessarily remember that yet.]

[He does, but then again, fishing wasn't something one really got to practice in the Pride Lands. That doesn't stop him from approaching. Out of courtesy,he purposely makes some noise to let her know he's there.]

Feeling better I see.

[She'll find Sokka on the front porch of the house, sitting on the steps and in the middle of running a whetstone over the edge of his blade. With Edward dead and Winry playing hooky from the smithy, Sokka doesn't have time to work on his own stuff (or rather he does, but laying on the smithy couch and staring at the ceiling for ten minute intervals isn't something he can give up). Mostly he's a little bored at the moment, since Suki is off doing... something else. That leaves him with nothing.]

[She approaches the house and the (folded!) clothes are in plain view...but he's preparing a weapon. She will stare at him until he puts it down or acts with it. No approaching.]

[He doesn't notice San immediately. Not until he casually looks up and notices her shadow and spots who it belongs to. He puts the stone away and sheaths the sword, leaving it on the porch as he stands.]

There you are. We'd been wondering where you ran off to. Well... not so much where, obviously. That's kind of obvious, giant foot prints and all that.

I didn't run.

[but she comes closer and holds out the blue clothes pretty forcefully]

This belongs to your sister.

[Now that's a strange fish. San moves closer to the water and leans over, reaching for her knife. It's definitely big enough to eat...but she doesn't have a good view of it yet]
