[Well. It's been a while. San missed all the hubbub and craziness going on in the village. ...She was a little busy, when viewed a certain way.

At the moment it's hard to view her at all, though. She's in the village, but keeping to the shadows, and may very well be crouched beside your house right now. If you do notice her, she's in the sundress,

[Derek is out in the back yard of house 55, putting the garden there back into decent shape. He hears the clink of metal before he catches the scent, and will pause and look in the direction of the noise.

He'll nod carefully at her.]

...Are you all right?

[Derek will keep silent, then, and lower his head a little more and showing some neck. Still not quite submission, but at least a willingness not to fight.

Once again, he'll offer the canteen by settling it on the ground between them, although this time with the cap off. He'll dip his head to it.

Go on then, drink.]

[She can't go for the canteen and continue to watch him. Potential danger is winning out over thirst right now, though she doesn't look like she plans to run anymore.]

[When she doesn't take it, he'll back away again, head held low and still respectful, and he'll keep backing until she relaxes or takes the canteen. He's taking this one thing at a time right now, and the current 'thing' is hopefully getting her to drink.]

[When she thinks he's far enough away she takes it. It will all be gone in a matter of seconds.]

[He'll wait before she backs away from it enough that she won't spool again when he goes to retrieve it. And he'll do so, go inside to refill it, and bring it back out again and set it in the same place is she;'s still there before going back to what he'd been doing.]
