It is day one.

The first thing I noticed was the snow. Yes, snow does stick out for me, seeing how I live in a country where the only chance of it ever snowing is if everyone, simultaneously, were to open their fridges and pray for a miracle. All I can say is cool. Very, very cool in fact. Never knew cake could be layered like that on a stick in fact.

Thank you. Actually, we have something similar here in Singapore called Kueh Lapis. However, it's not on a stick, which is what makes BAUMKUCHEN superior. Also, it is interesting to note that Hokkaido has a long, rich history of having ties with the Germans, which is why they have so many foods with German names, and also black slave figurines.
