LOL thank you. I have an LJ friend who disappeared for 2.5 years & returned to tell us about the birth of her child. We hadn't even known she was dating someone, but here she was married and stuff.

I think that my favorite Discworld books are Guards!Guards! (because of how Vimes is introduced and really how Sybil batters down his resolve, but I love the hell out of Sybil), The Truth (you never forget your first), Thief of Time (The Four Horsemen and Ronnie Soak! and the romance for Susan is just adorable), Lords and Ladies (for the reasons you said) and Wintersmith (again, for the same reasons).

I'll have to check out your recommendations. The kid really likes Scooby Doo, but I suspect that she'd also dig Tiny Titans.

And if you want, I'll arrange a D&D game when you come out. Something short and not too stupid, but loaded with inappropriate conversation topics.
