If you're shooting pistols of that size, there's no need to brace. Their kick would be minimal, especially for someone of Deadpool's 1337 skillz and build.

Speaking of build, he should have leaner muscles than this.

And I shamelessly ogle his package.

I also think that he should be leaner but he's still very acrobatic so I'm okay with it. Maybe since they went with a very realistic uniform, a lot of it is protective padding.
