The other day I gave the Watchmen X-Box Live game a try, since you can try it for free before buying. I'm still undecided on whether or not to actually get it (it's fun, particularly if you play the unorthodox Rorschach, who has some neat moves, but it seems slightly repetitive and has gotten mixed reviews), but either way, the game and the game's ( Read more... )

nice wps! I bought the game lol, it's pretty good. But then again I can listen to Rorschach and Nite Owl read the phonebook and I'd be happy.

Heh, that game's on my list of reasons to one day buy an Xbox 360, I mean.. c'mon, you get to kick butt as Rorschach.

Yeah, I am going to end up buying the game, I know it. Just so I can hear Jackie Earle Haley say Rorschach-like things the whole time. For a mysterious (to some) vigilante, he sure is talkative in the game. Heh.

Hearing JEH talk in the Rorschach Voice is definitely another very good reason. I'm still a little amazed how well he pulled of the voice, considering just how totally different it is to his own... ah, I love JEH. <3

I KNOW. His own voice is so non-Rorschach-y; I am very impressed by him.

Stealing 2, 3, 4 and 5, because Dan is just so amazingly fantastic and Rorschach with a baseball bat was something I didn't know I needed in my life until tonight. I really need to play this game.

Enjoy! #4 is my current desktop. :)

The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward, but the comic-y finishing moves of Rorschach (and Nite Owl, but more Rorschach) are SO MUCH FUN to watch.

P.S. I love your icon. Could I perhaps use it too? I love the almost gleeful look (albeit perhaps unintentional, considering he was just set up) look of his mask there.

Haha, of course! I think I made a note of who posted it, but you'll have to check. ^^; Also, my friend and I are pooling some money to buy the game, because I can't see it sucking royally enough that I wouldn't enjoy beating people up as Nite Owl. :DDD

I haven't even played as Nite Owl yet except for the trial game. :) It should be fun! (Although it really is fun watching Rorschach smack the criminals around, too. He has some brutal moves.)
