I guess I'm just lucky, there. My flu shots never seem to bother me except for the momentary burn as the vaccine goes in. Once in a while, maybe a little elevation in temperature. Rarely enough to notice.

OTOH, free? No such luck. It's usually a supermarket or drug store for me.

Incidentally, I learned that a year or two back, Maryland quietly authorized pharmacists to give injections. Don't know if that was a homeland security consideration, or just part of the Bird Flu scare. But it seems like a good idea.

Thanks for reminding me. Luckily I have no side-effects and it seems to have prevented me from getting flu for as long as I've had them (at least a decade).

No prob! That's good. My side effects usually only last a day, so it's not too bad.

I don't get the flu symptoms from the shot.

Normally. Ours are coming early Nov. I'll let you know if I get symptoms.

Generally I'd say that autumn and winter are my favourite seasons.. except that I never quite seem to make it through them without getting sick, it's weird but flu shots don't seem to work for me at all, so I tend to be quite paranoid about germs and the likes.

Oh, and Lois and Clark was so awesome in a 'it's so bad it's good'-kind of way. I used to love it, no one here ever quite understood why. *g*

I hope you'll feel better soon. );

Yeah, I tend to catch flus and things. But the shot seems to work pretty well.

Oh, I unashamedly love Lois and Clark. I mean, for one, it's got Dean Cain. But also some of the eps were actually quite good. (And some were abysmally bad, but whatever.)
