*waves* Hi! I found you via a mutual friend (ineverycolor) who recommended your journal to me. Reason being I have two ferrets who I fondly refer to as my kidlets aka furbabies.
They don't appear in my journal nearly as often as I would like & I am trying to correct that problem. In light of which, I have been looking for awesome ferret friendly friends who also share this passion of mine. It's a slow process, though.. I tired posting in an add me community looking for ferret lovers & they deleted my post. I tried looking through 'ferret(s)' interest & that's more frustrating than anything & proving to be fruitless.
But yes, ideal timing that ineverycolor mentioned adding you, I hope you won't mind that I've friend you & I would lovelovelove if you would friend me back :) or could recommend any other ferret blogging you've stumbled across? *hopeful smile*
I know, I don't take nearly enough photos or even videos of my ferrets. I feel very sad about that. :-( I need to get off my lazy bum and fix that now.
It's funny... I joined a ferret community here on LJ way back in 2002... and then left because everyone was so rude and mean to each other. I know how that can be sometimes. thank you so much :) i will most definitely be looking into your suggestion. i definitely do have a lot of recommendations i can give you, all over the web or books & whatnot. i've searched high & low & have been very fortunate in that regard. now i'm just hoping to try to incorporate some ferret lovers into my eljay friends page, if possible.

He truly, without at doubt, is the perfect man for me. And I'd like to mention this in a later post sometime but it also hit me that he and I live together so well too. No squabbles about messes or uber tidiness, etc.
I wish I had met my geek back in the days, like 1998 when I first got internet. Anyway. I'm glad you have a cute little geek in your life too. They're the best. Can you tell me about your meeting?
Sure. Well, like I mentioned previously, we met through the net. The both of us were members of a Swedish blogging site called Lunarstorm and we met through it. It was a really popular site for teens/people in their 20s for a while.. don't know if it still is. I don't remember exactly what happened, but we left each other small messages and private PM's through the site and shortly after we started to talk on ICQ where we chatted quite a lot for a couple of months or so before we decided to meet up IRL. We lived pretty close to each other so it was quite simply. I was going to a gig in the city he was studying so we just met up quickly before at a café for a chat. He was going on a snowboarding trip with his mates the same day though so it wasn't that long but we met again one week later for a proper date. And we've been together since with a few up and bumps, but not too many... Oh, and we met 2002 btw so we've been together for 10 years now. Craziness.
