On this irreverent note. OK a young actor died. BUMMER but NOT worth cracking all EMO over. Just another opportunity to shovel the obvious, drugs aren't for everyone, even the legal ones have repercussions. Media just floating another series of wringing hands stories while completely ignoring the reality of the other 349,999,999 regular stiffs

Plus wait until they finish the autopsy on the guy. Six prescription meds, okay fine, which meds. At this point they'd find more than six near me if I died in bed. Two cholesterol meds, a BP med, diabetes meds, and asthma meds, now there's a deadly cocktail for ya.

Wal, find "near me" is a tall order. I have lots of meds I keep near me that I don't use terribly often.

Find in my bloodstream is another order. We got the news about the dead youngster while in Vegas, and (a) we first thought it was a poor-taste joke and (b) you would have found exactly 0 of those meds in my bloodstream. Four of 'em were in my hotel room with me, though, just in case.

I guess what I'm saying is, it's sad and all, but ... have some sympathy for him, too. It may very well have been an "I knew better, but I mixed wrong by mistake" case. I remember the morning after I accidentally roofied myself. ... Damn, I won't go there again any time soon, but I could have very well fucked myself up good entirely by mistake.

It's sad when people die young, and he had a little girl. As human beings we are wired to connect to others, and to feel the loss when someone dies no matter the circumstances.
