Alas, I have to go in for teaching tomorrow :-( Right in the middle of my annual leave, too! But I will be spending a lot more time here soon. xxx

I don't know if you got my email/message, but we are heading up that way in a little over a week - if you fancy a meal / drink let us know :) I believe you should have been invited to a general get-together in Leicester during that week on facebook, but obviously happy to organise another time if you guys are busy with work (or commuting)!

We shall be up in the area from this sunday (the 15th), the sushi meet up is on thursday the 20th if you fancy it, or can see if we can find a chance to wander over your way earlier than that if you're not hectically busy!

Haha, my mum is also suggesting roast goose :-)

I'm not a professor quite yet! Professorships in the UK are a bit different to the US, I think - it takes years and years and most people never get there. I'm probably what you guys would call a TA :-) xxx
