So very proud of my home state.
Last night, Maryland became the first state to approve an equal marriage law by popular vote.

Maine and Washington state also approved equal marriage laws.

I meant to choose the icon's simpler version but then the entry for this caught my eye (since they come right after one another in the drop down menu), remembered the additional text and just couldn't resist. ;D

It's such a huge change in my backwards little state. *shakes head* I never thought I'd see this in my lifetime. (My father is homophobic.)

There are no words for all the things I feel.

This new law is a glorious thing.
