I wrote a lot back at home but all of it was in paper journals, which were polite enough not to shock me when I didn't use them. Murdering a doctor, revivable or not, is like shooting oneself in the foot, I would think. I would hope the person would have reason for it.

And as for being able to act normally and then suddenly begin to murder... human beings without any sort of powers are certainly capable of such a turn-around.
Well, even if they don't need a doctor themselves, they aren't thinking very far ahead. If they plan to continue to injure and murder people, they will need someone capable of patching them up. There are the scientists, of course, but to kill the doctor is like killing the sheepdog that should keep track of your sheep.

That has been bothering me for a while, as well. I'm not surprised to see people take lives for granted, but in this kind of wide scale... It's almost as though life has lost all value, if it can be so easily replaced.

There are too many factors playing a role in this; different people from too many different worlds, clashing timelines, the very apocalyptic feel of this place and, of course, the fact death is not permanent. It gives off this illusion that people have nothing to lose, and those are the most dangerous kinds.
