As we have seen in Crisis Core, and later in the original FFVII, Vincent is asleep for most of our timeline, up until the point that Cloud finds him underneath Shinra Mansion.

Yes, the events involving Turk!Vincent and the whole Lucretia/Hojo ordeal took place 20-30 years before the start of FFVII. Our game is only set 7 years prior, as is Crisis Core.

As far as I know of Kitty's methods, when she puts "pending" she actually means that in reference to the player's journal post-- as in, we haven't been informed of their in character journal yet.

I'm fairly certain that's what it means, but I'll be sure to ask her to confirm.

I'm not trying to drive you guys insane-- promise. I'm just really excited about this group (requiring that members proof read entries for spelling and grammatical errors? Discouraging "crack?" Enforcing canon? It's like my personal role-playing heaven...!)

Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but if a character is pending, does that mean you're not accepting applications for him? Wasn't sure if it was indicative of a hold up on the end of the group or the applicant or what.

Pending means that we have approved an application for the character, but they have not yet made their character journal and joined the game.

A pending character has usually a few days to join the game before the status reverts to applicable.
