It's not the aurora or Northern Lights, but what is it? And Russia is saying it's not his but he could be lying...

Strange spiral that appeared early in the morning overhead. Took several pictures and a video of it.

Unlikely. The nisse told me it wasn't anything from their side.

It definitely wasn't caused by the magnetosphere. See, there aren't any bright colours in the spiral, and the movement isn't natural!

[Pointing at segments of the bands; Aurora expert over here. Then again, you probably know quite a bit about them yourself.]

But you know, it is kind of pretty, don't you think? Kind of like a galaxy or a strange flower. Have you named it yet?

Leaning towards Russia being the cause. Don't trust him to tell the truth.

There are rumors he's testing rockets and failing at it. He's not too far away, so anything that happens over on his side we'd certainly see.
