Well, Dad flooded the kitchen today. It was quite funny actually. Sorry to hear about the flu. We're basically out of the flu season here in the States, except for that annoying Swine Flu that everyone totally FREAKED out about.

Your story about the kitchen flooding made me laugh and brought memories I had totally forgotten about flooding the bathroom as a kid. Left the tub running too long. I think I was like 7 or 8. My poor parents had a house full of neighbors, too!

Good to hear you are making progress with your stories. I"m looking forward to reading the updates when the come.

Thanks for the sympathy, I could really use it right now, not for me but for the family that now has my sickness. *cackles evily* Erm, yes, the swine flu has Australia screaming blue murder because of our apparent 'lax' border security protocols. (which is quiet the opposite really, we as a country are very strict in what goes in and out of the country because we are isolated from the rest of the world.) So far we've had 50 or so reported cases, and all but one have proven false, at least that's what I understood. All this talk of Swine Flu has me remembering the joke that Misao said to Yahiko (I think it was)about the price of bacon going up in the Lost City.

Enough of that ugly talk, now.

I'm glad that little story about my flooded kitchen made you smile; I aim to please, lol. Your story had me laughing as well, but at least you had age on your side, not so much for my dad, lol.
