Qui-Gon brewed the tea, giving the water a minute or two to boil before pouring it over the tea bags. Admittedly, he could not quite decide whether he preferred the green tea or the black tea, which had started running low in any case with the change in the weather. He prepared her cup in the way she usually liked, and then set it in front of her with a quiet click.
"I thought perhaps that if you preferred a little privacy, we might go down just into the caves."
The natural springs in the caves kept the air comfortably warm, if just a little damp, and far fewer islanders now lived in the caves instead of the compound. He added sugar to his own cup, taking a sip and then closing his eyes in silent appreciation.
