But it made sense to my Chuck-infested mind that he would expect Blair to be more emotional because she was a woman so he thought it meant for her than it really did!!
I got the sense that that was what he has holding on to...After he found out that Blair had slept with Nathan too, it made him blackmail her to stay away from him.
He wanted to be the only one touching Blair....my sweet Chuckie! lol

I love the part where you say that his harsh words surprise even him!
If only those butterflies would stop flying around his insides like vultures waiting for his soul to collapse… Simply breathtaking.... and so vivid an imagery.

There was no victory here, only the chilling emptiness of losing something you have held dear for too long and in the process losing the best part of yourself. - So true and we know that because he turned to look at her when she left with a hurt,lost look on his face! :(

This is exactly what I thought when he told Blair all those horrible things...
To me it seemed like he felt really bad at he end. He turned to look at her and then he kinda wallowed. He wouldnt do that if he were happy that he hurt her.

Yeah, exactly! I thought that it cost him that Blair made lot with Nate. It made what they shared less special in his eyes...
