Spike leaves a letter for Harmony, a few hours after the final scene of Fool For Love.
Bad language and major character death (obviously) follow.
A previous reader has warned that this fic is quite disturbing. Thanks!
Harm,
DON’T TOUCH THE FUCKING EQUIPMENT.
I mean it. Really. DO NOT touch ANYTHING.
Right now, as you’re reading this, I’m on a table

I like that you took the chip thing a whole other step here. I've never seen this angle taken and that's really cool.
Keep up the good writing,

Thanks, I think I'm getting pretty good at the Spike voice - much better than at any others anyway. Had to keep going back and editing the other dead letter variation I wrote, from the Doctor, as it came out much too Spike at first. Plus, I kinda talk that way anyway, dunno if that's just me or a result of an excessive amount of Buffy... I have a bad feeling it's the latter, but would like to think not.
Thanks, I have a sneaking suspicion there'll be a throwaway line somewhere in the canon about vampires not being able to regenerate that much - they had to sew Spike's hands back on in 'Damage' after all, it never suggested he'd grow new ones. But hopefully not, and I just found the loophole by being a bit smarter than Spike!

Sorry I didn't review sooner : busy week end. Anyway, I love this. Very 'in character'. Almost wish it were canon : always prefered Bad Boy Spike !!!
Best lines : 1 - 'in response to your blank expression, I blew my brains out, you dumb bint';
2 - 'I’ve never been one for the suicide scene. Considered it once, who wouldn’t in Xander’s basement?';
3 - 'go buy yourself something pretty. Eat something pretty, too, while you’re at it.'
And now that I really think about it, I wonder why Spike didn't think about it... I mean, he is a vampire, so a bullet in the head shouldn't be fatal to him. What an ingenuous way to get rid of the bloody chip !!!
I just hope Harm didn't touch 'the fucking equipment', with her you can never be sure, she's so... Harm ! lol
Saw you post another Death Letter, from the Doctor Who fandom. Too tired to read it now, but I'll give it a go tomorrow, promise ( cross my fingers and hope to die ! lol ).
See you, mate.
Luz.

You did a fantastic job with Spike's voice, I actually hear him reading this letter.

Yeah, he's not really one to often go with long, complicated plans, this is probably why! There's a line in Tomorrow Never Dies, 'The difference between insanity and genius is measured only by success' - so I guess it's all down to how it turns out for Spike in the end!
Dunno, would be interesting to write a sequel for this someday, no plans as of yet though.
Thanks a lot, very proud of my Spike voice!

I'm very pleased with how this one turned out.
The other one, from Doctor Who fandom, is a bit rubbish!
