Well, Lorelai's daycare fell through. Apparently one of the kids that they were expecting to go to pre-k somewhere isn't going to go. Since we were the last to sign up, we're the ones booted. I know it's the fair and right thing to do. But COME ON HERE!!! NONE of the freaking daycares/preschools in the Palm Coast area cater to teachers. They all

is it possible to pick one a little further out and be put on a wait list for a few closer ones in case any of the kids leave early?

Check out the Y, or people doing it local at their homes... there are places around here for parents that work early, that will take kids before school hours and watch them, and then take them to school or daycare or where ever when it opens.

7:30? I thought a lot of old people live in Florida and don't they wake up at like 5 am?

I am of course joking ..but seriously! 7:30? That is so strange. Every childcare place here opens at 6 am.
