By now MOST of you will probably be well aware that 3x11 Pax Romama leaked online two weeks early...

And whilst it was wonderful and epic and too completely HOT, there are more than likely some of us who will have decided to wait for the premier on the tellybox, so I would encourage any and all posting about Pax Romama and the horrifically innate ( Read more... )

ok, so john writes a message to helen in his blood, yet he takes the time to make a nice little line/squiggle underneath his name? PULEASSSSSS.

and what the hell does it even mean? his debts to helen are paid? his debts to worth are paid? so not enough john in this episode.

It seems to be Worth's blood actually, which makes a lot more sense considering John ambushed him in the pod and was hell-bent on revenge.

As it's a message for Helen (signed 'John' not 'Druitt') it would seem, i'd imagine it's his debts to Helen that are paid? There's PLENTY of debt between both of them in the past.

I suppose we'll see!

There are plenty of debts to Helen, yes, but I don't see John ever thinking that he could ever repay them to Helen. I would think that he thinks that he can never make it up to her completely.

Even if it's Worth's blood, John is seriously injured but he still takes the time to put a little squiggle underneath his name to make it pretty? I'm still eh on that, it's just hilariously ridiculous IMO.

The weird thing is, if I remember correctly, he doesn't even know that Helen is alive, right? So he couldn't have sent that message to Helen per se. So what if, he unleashed his monster, let it surface because for him, there was nothing to live for anymore (Ashley is gone, James is Gone, his Helen is gone), and by debts, he meant... payback for her death? I'm just theorizing, obviously, and I might be on a very wrong track.

Is Worth even dead?! Where is Johnny? ET CETERA. SO MANY QUESTIONS.

I think he probably got it out of Adam. "Who shot you?" "Helen."

And yes, I agree that John finished off what Helen actually did.

When I first saw it I understood it that way, that his debts to Helen are paid. She found him and fixed him and then he told her he had left Adam go all those years ago.

Didn't he mean, that he didn't let him go now?

Thats just me theorizing.

John says to Helen in 'For King and Country' "I owe you nothing" and then she says Adam is still alive. I think she probably let him go after the events of FKAC instead of going after him with her pistol, in exchange for him helping them to kill Adam. When it transpires Adam is still alive, it opens up this whole unfinished business thing. Also Helen sort of owes John for taking the energy creature back into himself to save the Sanctuary in Haunted. So the message, IMO, is to say, that's it,we're even now, we're done, now stay away from me because even though I love you, we might kill each other.

Yeah, that makes sense. He would rather be apart from her, with all his debts paid than risking hurting her.

As someone said to me in the episode discussion, Magnus's face here seems to say, "WTF does that mean?" LOL.
