Thank goodness we don't have to have Spurs linked with every player that has ever played the sport until January. Honestly, I am so sick of everyone saying that Tottenham want them. I think most of the time it is just agents trying to get a better price for their client. Lame

Have you seen how pleased Chimbonda looks on the website? I don't think I've seen a new signing looking quite so chuffed.

Agreed about Mido, and am pleased about Malbranque. Shame about the LW, though.

upset about the LW too and I don't really understand why we didn't wait until January to buy Malbranque since he can't play for the next 10 weeks anyway, though I sort of love the rumour as to why he's actually not able to play for the next ten weeks. I will be excited about him once he is fit though. Now for January, we need to offload more midfielders. It is silly to keep Murphy. He never even gets on the bench.

I think they really tried for the LW and it just didn't come off.
I think we didn't wait on Malbranque cos other clubs were after him.
As for offloading people, I think we should wait until we've brought in a few replacements. The ones we could offload are people who won't whinge too much being played out of position - which they will be, let's face it!
What I really don't get is why we had to loan out Routledge. Seems stupid to me when Jol appears to want to play 442 to get rid of your only other winger.

Whatever happened to Reto? Why is Jol not playing him on the left wing?

I do think Spurs tried for a LW too so I am sure that Cammoli will be scouring the leagues for one for January. I am almost glad we didn't get Downing. 10 million seems like a lot and we seem to have spent so much this window anyway.
