Various Dogs

I'm in the UK, mostly just to visit family, but I stopped off via elfasi and megadog on the way down to the Southwest.

Elfasi was of course his usual congenial self, and his dog Chorizo was delightfully pleased to see me (more people! oh joy! oh joy!). During the night the dog must have come over at least a dozen times to trample on me, nose at me, lick my ( Read more... )

Did the doggage wake you up by licking your eyes? He always does that to me :P

Yep -- sometimes my mouth, sometimes my eyes, the occasional snuffle at my ears. Then trample trample trample, turn around a few times, flop down, sigh heavily, sleep a bit, stand up again, trample trample trample...

But I forgive him because he's such a lovely doggage. :)

He does that to to me as well. I find it quite endearing :)

I'm in Devon, then Cornwall, then Devon again, Thursday to Monday. In the unlikely event that you're still there and we both have time away from family, I'm aware I've not seen you in a couple of years, now!

Thursday to Monday -- duly noted! I will be in Cornwall, mostly in the St Austell and Falmouth area, but chances are I'll be immersed in family and getting mauled by nephews and nieces. So it goes.

I'm in Lostwithiel on the Friday and Saturday nights. This is conspicuously close to St Austell. (-8 On the surrounding days and intervening day, I'll likely be in such touristy faff as Lanhydrock and the Eden Project.

As you say, we're likely both busy, but… you'll be on your +41 mobile number?

I'm now on the Vodafone SIM that I carry while in the UK: 07833 764 619. But I do expect to be inextricably entangled in the bosoms of friends and family.

On the other hand, I've never yet visited the Eden Project.

The various and varied personalities of different dogs are a joy to behold. And that's Chorizo's favourite thing with new guests or infrequent guests. He seems to have a need to trample and lick them at regular intervals for reasons best known to him. Spend a few more nights and he settles down. He even did it to me in the early days :)

Was a delight as always to see you, was a lovely day, and I think Chorizo would agree :)
