This made me smile. I can even picture Mischa, standing noble and proud, the likeness of his lupine ancestors, in my mind's eye. And I lol, just a little, at his adorable antics. :)

One dearly missed old malamute companion of mine had a thing for deer, likely because I used to give her fresh deer bones as treats every fall. When she saw her first one in the flesh she must have made the connection that it was food because she went from lying down to to three feet in the air in the blink of an eye. She hit the ground going full throttle and conviently ignored my yelling at her to stop. Needless to say, she was not a happy dog when I finally collared her and dragged her away from her fun.
