Staple diet

When I was at university, I went for something like a year basically living on brown rice, fish, onions and bananas. That's not to say I didn't eat other stuff too-my diet was balanced and healthy enough, but that was my staple, my regular meal. I was happy with it. **hugs** It's good to know you're kinda breaking through this particular bout of Black-Doggism assisted by suitable psychopharmaceuticals. In previous times you'd probably have had to take up a career as an Artist Composer or Author, spending a short and traumatic solitary life in penury in a freezing Rive Gauche attic and painting/writing/sculpting crazily before finally slitting your wrists in despair and becoming internationally famous.

As to Ratatouille, you do of course know it's vastly better when made with fresh Rat?

My staple food when I was a student was French bread and butter - simple, cheap, quick, easily available and tasty :)

My worst month is January. I get into a huge malaise and rarely get out of bed when I'm not working as a consequence :/

January and February have both historically been quite dire for me. It was better this year because I was lucky enough to spend much of December in the Southern hemisphere...
