Snip snip snip

There's a peculiar fascination to self-mutilation. I could do it all day. Granted, I'm only using a very sharp pair of scissors to snip the dead skin away from the hole where I punched a screwdriver into my thumb, but I can easily see why it becomes a hobby ( Read more... )

Looks strangely like the average English suburban garden :)

It's getting there. :) At least it no longer looks like the average English dole-scrounger layabout trash-heap-jungle.

Well done on getting the garden into better shape. I'm sure Mischa appreciates being able to be out in his own yard without having a leash on.

Mal's are not quite the escape artists that Huskies can be but I would caution you to keep a watchful eye on your pup. While I don't think Mischa would leap that fence, I have heard of some that laugh at short fences. :)

Yep, we'll never leave him alone in the garden. The only reason he hasn't already soared over that fence is that he doesn't know he can. Fortunately he'd just find himself in the neigbours' gardens, and we're on good terms with them. :)

*nods* I figured you guys were paying attention to Mischa while he was out there. Niko grew up in a yard with a chain link fence but the house we have now has a fence that is at least 2 meters tall. I worry a lot less about him being out in the yard unsupervised having a higher fence.

Wait a minute! This can´t be the same garden i recall!
So...
This is, what it looks like, if an englishman catches a kind of very strange hay-fever-anomaly and turns into a garden
refurbishing maniac?
As we would say in germany: Ganz großes Kino!!!

But: where are the flowers???? The garden looks nothing but
green... :-P

Yes! In 500 years I think that grass will be looking really rather nice. :)

Flowers. Good point; I haven't really thought about flowers. I think Aki is most interested in tomatoes.

Your dog looks so cute in that pic. Seems like you have a nice sized back yard!

He is so cute. :) Unfortunately the garden doesn't adjoin the house (a common German habit), so we can't let him run freely between one and the other.
