Though not, I guess, as enlightened as consistent care and occasional love. C'mon, Mischa, it's time for your second run. (He's flaked out on his side behind my chair. Awwwww.)

I think that for a country to count as civilised it should have a National Dog Day.

[Here in the UK we have National Take Your Dog To Work Day which is an activity I wholeheartedly recommend]
