Don't clean up then, she said evenly, stepping in deftly, a small river forming behind her. She pushed him roughly against the wall and kissed him so hard their teeth clinked, and he bit his tongue.
When she left, she didn't bother to close the door, and he didn't take the trouble to clean the huge puddles of water that she had left behind.
