Okay,  what's happened while I've been out of touch, apart from the economy going into free-fall?

Well, today I started another novel.   Day One of this session of novel_in_90 and I've done my first 986 words.  I would have liked a thousand, but I've got more than quota and I'm not going to quibble for the sake of 14 words.

I've done zip today. but I have a really good excuse and it's strangely synergetic. My Life Insurance people finally decided I am Ill. I've been all stunned at the thought.

Wow. For life insurance people to decide is remarkable, if it's in your favour it's almost unprecedented.

Are you indulging in wine by way of celebration again? Does it mean that you won't be writing tomorrow, either?

I was meaning to join in this round of novel_in_90, but the start date of today took me by surprise.

I have a day off tomorrow, I'll just have to start a day late!

Time keeps doing that to me, too. I was only aware of the date because of our, um, appointment on Monday. No mock from me, just a big welcome when you log into Nin again :)

The 'official' rounds seem to have dropped off a little, as people are joining part way through quite often anyway.

Hurrah on the new novel!

I'm glad the insurance paid up in the end. It can be a long hard slog to get there and at least the government should now be looking after the money . . .

The money is a looooong story. I may never get to tell it in its entirety as it still isn't finished.
