I always wanted a proper library, with sliding along steps. I blame Candleshoe which I watched as a child and have very fond memories of.

The library at my sixth form had oak shelves and stained glass - in spite of being a later extension to the original building - and I loved it.
Having said that, this was my college, so stained glass seemed a necessity, I suppose. (My dad was there before me, when it was still the grammar school.)
The library was ace. :D
