It seems that I've become a grumpy old whinge-bag lately. I do apologise.

Hopefully the mood swings and nonsense will work themselves out over the next week or two and normal service will be resumed. Well, as normal as it ever gets around here. In the meantime, it's been quite an eventful weekend, in a small-scale sort of way ( Read more... )

And I'm glad the description worked - with no video camera to hand I had to remind myself that I profess to be a writer and descripiton is what I do ;-)

That bird was so cute - whenever I want a smile, I just replay that little scene in my head for a while.

*lol* I clicked on the link expecting pretty pictures. After reading the anecdote, I'm very pleased to note that there were no photos. :P

I had a good giggle picturing "Tinkerbell in a snit," and I'm sure you got the dialogue just right.

Hurrah! A finished draft!

I loved the description of the blue tit in a snit. I could just picture it. Unfortunately I could also picture the scene in the pub, but I didn't dwell on it. :)

Sorry about the graphic pub stuff ;-) I should probably have been a bit more specific in the cut tag, but it was midnight and my brain had ceased to function.

Come to think of it, I have the same problem at midday, too....
