*glomps back like whoa!* Thank you, Conny! I = so, so happy you like the Cyril one, esp since you're one of the few others who actually knows who he is. That one was the main struggle-source -- it was rewritten and reorganized about 10 times, give or take.

Heee. (In my head, the thing with his captain has a lot to do with how Deki is around him, sort of unconsciously; Ujfi's totally different. (Yes, I have thought about this way too much.))

(I'm totally embarrassed to have thought about this, and I don't have the details exactly sorted out. But in the Kuzi/Deki world in my head, they were rooming together early on, and Kuzi said something harsh to him, and Deki had this instinctive, submissive response. He caught himself almost immediately, but there was this moment of comprehension and "Holy ... " from Kuzi, and comprehension and "Ah FUCK" from Deki. And the rest is historyinmyhead.)

I can't stop automatically loling at this everytime Kuzi is mentioned anywhere now, though.
