two drabbles: Argentina

May 07, 2008 17:12

They say Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
A Brunette Man, he’d never understood why.

At least that’s what he thought.
Before him.

He left him panting, sweating, exhausted; yet already wanting, craving, yearning for him again. And again. And again.

Watching his blonde hair slip between his suntanned fingers, seeing his blonde head bent down ( Read more... )

aggghhh! the guilt!!! I'm so sorry, Dani... but it's what Digdigil wanted (desperately searching for an excuse)

But haven't you heard that variety is the spice of life? There's still hope, Dani... *hugs*

I don't quite get the beginning of #1, especially the second line... *scratches head* But OMG, what an intriguing concept. (And now I know why Sosa didn't work. XD) I'm very relieved that Micho feels at least a bit guilty at the end, because he should. Bad boy. *pets Dani* :)

And the second one... mmmmmmmmmmh. There must be a reason why Micho loves eating out with Luca, and this is a very plausible one, isn't it? :D I especially loved the before-after style of the story - wonderfully written.

oh dear... looks like I got too obscure.

I'm honestly not sure where the phrase "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" comes from, probably some old corny movies. And somewhere, in that same context, some men said tehy were brunette men - meaning that they prefer women with brown hair. (Brown sounds just so unsexy... brunette sounds much, well, more elegant, I guess. Especially when you're up against blonde!)

Glad the rest of it drew you in, even if the start was kinda wonky.

*squeezes you!*

Oh, not obscure at all after this explanation. I suppose it was just the language barrier that confused me here - and the capital letters. :D But it totally makes sense as you wrote it!

*squeezes back*

OMG! Let me butt in here! LOL. "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" is the title of a Marilyn Monroe movie that I've seen on TV many times. I am an afficionado of films from the 50s and early 60s, with Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren and Marilyn Monroe being my three favourite actresses. And Sandra Dee is my guilty secret. Also "blonde" and "brunette" are always used together when describing hair. It is such a classic description of contrasts with regards to hair. Okay, I'm through poking my nose in!!! ♥

Omigosh! That is totally fabulous!

I finally managed to get over here, join, and find the drabble!

Thank you so much for taking me up on my wish and writing this superb drabble. It sparkles. It really is delightfully animated, with great use of action words and phrases: panting, sweating, blonde hair stuck to his cheek, etc.

Not to mention the hotness of the implied shenanigans: blonde head bent down between his legs. Ooohhh, that line gave me shivers, it prompted such great visuals.

And Schweini was an inspired choice. I love the contrast between blonde and brunette. Besides that, Schweini and Micho make a particularly intriguing couple. I never would have thought of them. I so thought you were going to write about Micho and Van Bommel. *facepalm*

I am going to have so much fun trying to write drabbles. It's going to take a lot of discipline and I can only hope that I can do a creditable job.

And thank you so very much.♥

And thank you so very much.
Oh, dear, you're so very welcome! ♥ The idea was all yours...

I have to admit I picked Schweini because the two have been photographed together or near each other quite often recently, and the physical contrast between them (their looks) intrigues me - and I thought blonde hair may just intrigue Micho, too... Glad that the different positionings of blonde hair seems to have intrigued you, too! *naughty grin*

I'm so happy you liked it - and thanks for the great comment! Is real inspiration to keep writing. *hugs*

Well, I think Schweini was an inspired choice!

I loved the drabble! And I certainly hope you keep on writing. I'm still trying to think of a suitable subject.

Okay, I must comment on the second drabble as well. LOL. I almost forgot because I was still *squeeeing* over the first one!

Micho/Luca Toni is almost unbearably hot as a relationship. (You know that, right?) I mean, one gorgeous man is hot enough, but two of them together? Almost unbearable.

This drabbles sizzles, and it's not just the tomato sauce.

And so it ended with two lovers, twisted sheets, dripping wax

The above line is loaded with sexy, steamy visuals, to emulate your use of alliteration. And speaking of alliteration:

Tasting tangy tomato sauce on his tongue

That line has to be one of the best uses of alliteration I've ever read! And it is so provocative! One wonders which was more delicious: the spaghetti or the dessert?

Wonderful job! These two drabbles are excellent. They are so well-written and emotional that they make for amazingly enjoyable reading!

OK - Micho/Dani remains my OTP, almost for historical reasons now (they're not doing much lately to feed my imagination...) but let me say, Micho/Toni definately has brain-overload-utter-meltdown potential!

Your comment made me squee --- I'm so unsure of my writing sometimes, and it pleases me to no end that it seems I'm not writing utter rubbish I have a fan out there :D

Really looking forward to reading your drabbles over here!!
