Javi glanced at him. “Well, I have been here for almost 13 years, Nico. My whole life is here: my family, my team (who is like my second family) - Nico smiled - my restaurant, and so many other things.
I will never forget where I came from, and I am proud to represent my country in the world every chance I get; but home? This is my home now.”

Awww, that last one. It's SO him. Sometimes I really wonder if he's started thinking of himself as an Italian. (And then I think about how proud he always looks when he's playing for the Albiceleste and I'm glad it's not that severe yet. XD) Wonderful!

Thanks! It was based on an interview I read that he said "I'm more Italian than I was 12 years ago" or something along those lines.
