And poor Timo in that last one! He always ends up getting screwed when playing for the national team. Maybe his hair distracts the defenders too much. ;)

It's Timo Hildebrand. Lehmann was suspended for the recent Ger-Czech Euro 08 qualifiers, so he played. From what I've seen of LJ posts and official match reports, the entire Germany team pretty much sucked that day. *sighs*
I don't know much about Lehmann's personality, so I can't write him. XD
That, I don't know. I didn't watch the game, so I'm basing what I write off news reports. Perhaps you could try a google search / the comm for Lehmann?
From a neutral point of view, it doesn't matter. But to me, it matters because I'm really hoping that once Lehmann retires from int. football, (probably after Euro '08?) Timo will be No.1. Unfortunately, given the way things are going now...

I do love Zé Roberto and van Bommel, but reading that first drabble made me feel sorry for Andi. I can imagine how frustrating it must be for him to know that no matter how hard he tries and no matter how brilliantly he plays (when he gets the chance), there's no real chance for him to put either of them on the bench.
Loved the way you wrote the second one, with Rense comforting Andi for a change and using the same words. Absolutely lovely, especially this: Not to mention that he’s Bayern through and through. So true. *clings to Andi

I saw the prompt 'Frustration', and I was all Andi. So uh.. he started it all. And yes, it will be frustrating. Kind of like trying to move a stone wall.

I felt like kicking something when I read the news reports. No one deserves such a string of bad luck. *sighs*
*grin* Bayern were second for the 'Frustration' week, because someone wrote the maximum 10 drabbles for another team. Dunno if I'll write any more (I usually play off player and team trivia), but I have written longer oneshots.. those are at my journal. Thanks for reviewing, glad you liked them!
