Real Madrid; Anyone/anyone or GEN; coming out anonymous December 16 2012, 13:27:47 UTC

so i've been thinking about this for some time now and what i want is basically this: a young player [canterano or whoever you want, 16-20 years old] who is just starting to make it big, gets photographed making out with a guy [it can be a random guy, or his boyfriend] and shit goes down. he's on the mouths of everyone and on the first pages of all spanish newspapers. mou being mou gives him more minutes to play, tells him to show these bastards and keep his head up high. people are chanting 'maricon maricon!' whenever he's on the pitch so when he goes to the locker room he just breaks down BECAUSE IT'S TOO MUCH FOR HIM and he thinks that he's ruined his future just by being himself, thinks about quitting football etc.

one of the big rm stars [idc who, cris, sergio, iker, mesut] who's in the closet himself thinks 'enough is enough' and comes out during a press conference to show the boy that he's not alone.

this is ALL i want from life right now, pls make my dream come true anons!

Anon, this fic is wonderful. Poor baby Morata. It must be so hard for him. And the most awful thing is that this can be very close to reality, if something like this happens irl.

Oh, Victor <3 Loved how you portrayed the Barca boys. And Pablo is so adorable! Hope they'll be happy together. Can't wait for the next part.

Yaaay, an update!

I loved this part so much, apart from the evil crowd reaction. Get your act together, Bernabeu, he just scored the winning goal in a clasico! The Barca players' reaction had me squee, that was the cutest thing ever. I love how they all support Alvaro, despite the hostile fans. Cristiano showing them the finger!!

Needless to say, I can't wait for more.

aww this is adorable! (i mean, it's sad and i feel bad for alvaro, but at the same time, it's so sweet). i love how everyone's supporting alvaro, how even the barca players are there for him, letting him score that goal, and pablo is such a sweetheart.

i hope you'll write more!

Tragic fic is not usually my thing but I'm just glad someone's having a go at writing the reality of a situation like this <3 and I loved, loved, loved this bit:

When the ref blows the whistle a few seconds later Cristiano walks off the pitch with his middle finger raised high at the supporters who were booing the loudest. Even the Barcelona guys look pissed, coaching staff included, and Tito comes forward to hug a dejected looking Morata and speak to him as he's walking down the tunnel.

It's exhausting, you know?” Alvaro sags against him, resting his head on his shoulder, “I go out and whether I play or sit on the bench I have to spend 90 minutes pretending I don't hear people singing and chanting that I'm going to die of AIDS or how I must have been fucked up the ass last night because I'm running funny, and then I go home and have to listen about how people give my boyfriend constant shit and the press follow him around when he's on campus or at work and he pretends it doesn't bother him but I know it does. Every interview revolves around my personal life and what it's like being gay and playing for one of the top five clubs in the world, and if I refuse to respond or ask if they can ask about something else I get called a brat or they act like I'm ashamed of my boyfriend. And now when I think of us getting married or having kids part of me wants that life but the other part wants to never put my child through that when I can barely stand putting my boyfriend through it ( ... )

I absolutely love this story. And it really makes me sad, because I feel like if this were to happen in real life it would be so awful for the player in question. I really like the way you're handling this subject, author anon.

I love this fill so much! I can totally see it happening. And I love how it's told from Pipita's point of view.
Poor baby Morata. Can't even imagine how difficult it is to go through it. But I love how strong he is. And Pablo is super cute. Loved his friendship with Irina :D
Can't wait for the next part. Hope Alvie and Pablo will be happy.
