i keep watching that clip over and over and i just can't decide if it was intentional or not. i've never liked Rooney and i've felt that he just gets a lot of blind support, especially now after the World Cup. but he scores goals and is some how likeable, so people are starting to say that he's just getting a reputation and refs are just assuming now. but he has a whole history of being extremely ill tempered and he's only 20. i kind of want to say it was unintentional because everyone else seems to believe it so firmly and i don't trust my knowledge of the game much but i feel like it was. i know i'm probebly wrong but i think it was.

Just as much as C. Ronaldo has the "diving" rep, Rooney has the "violent" sort of rep. They'll both have to suffer a lot of injustices for it.

Wasn't a red card. Wasn't a yellow. At the very most it was a foul. Just a case of dumbass ref wants his name in the papers for sending off WAYNE ROONEY against a PORTUGUESE TEAM. Lame.
