Madrid or Leeds

As we shouldn't be talking about the world cup here really, here's someone a little different. Jonathon Woodgate has been talking about going back to Real Madrid (he has been training with one of his former clubs Leeds United) and I just wondered what peoples opinions of him were outside of England ( Read more... )

I have no idea who this player is (I guess it goes to show how unlucky he's really been?) but I find it really interesting that Real fans support him that much.

Yeah. Imagine if your team signed a player for 17 million, he was out injured for over a year, then he finally played he scores and own goal and gets sent off... what kind of reception would he get? Yikes.

I think Real supporters, myself included, like the way that he keeps trying. He's had just the worst luck but keeps trying to get fit and play. PLUS we need defense like we need water to live. He's at least a glimmer of hope.
