It's awesome isn't it?? Imagine all the ribbing we would have taken from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, etc if we hadn't won. It feels wonderful to have this trophy.

YAY! So much YAY for having won this. You'r right. We'd never have lived this down, had we not won. And anyway, the lads were so happy. Did you watch the celebrations? *squee*

And soooooo much credit to Gaz for stepping back and letting Rio receive this as captain. Seriously. My uttermost respect. Just shows why Gaz is so very vital to us. And Giggsy and Scholesy and - will stop before I just name them all. *squee*

Yeah, I saw that too. MAx Bretos was all "we're not sure if Gary Neville or Rio will be lifting the trophy today" but Gaz had already gone through the line and was standing back with all the other lads and I was all "n'awwwwwwww lookit!" I love them all so much.

Yup. To be honest, I wasn't all that excited about this tournament. I mean, it's the middle of the season and we can't really afford to drop many more points in the league so a jetleg doesn't exactly seem helpful. But yes, all worth it for those grins and Wayne and Cristiano having lots of moments and Rio and Gaz and whee.

So glad that they won. In my opinion, they did undermine the strategy that the other team had. But I'm glad that they won.

Fantastic game. And the added title, Champion of the world is definitely something we can appreciate. Great pics dear!
