Killing time. Sitting in one of the University of Toronto's libraries, waiting for Pat. He's having his Celtic Studies exam now (and I'm logged in under his account), so he should be done shortly. Quite a reading list! I envy your speed reading. Though I guess the reason I read a bit slower is so I can really get into the emotions and stuff while I'm reading, especially so with fanfic. I've been reading brainless chick lit books like mad these past few weeks - to the obsessive point that I'm behind on homework. *sigh* (Then again, I'm always behind on homework anyway. *g*)
Hope you enjoyed the pub! :D

I guess speed-reading is a little misunderstood in that way. It may seem like when people read fast they can't wallow in the beauty of literature and savour it, but it's not true. I do all that and enjoy the books throughly - it's just I can't help how fast my eyes run over the letters. :P Sometimes, when I really want to slow down, I read out loud. xD
And thanks!!! Enjoyed the pub. Pubs rule!!!

I have all of Dickens's books on my Reading List, actually, but, to tell you the truth, Dickens and I don't get along at all. I find his stuff extensively boring, though he does have some good things as well. I read his Great Expectations, and found the title ironic. I had great expectations from that book - it being Dickens and all - and was disappointed, because nothing happened.

I like the way he manages to develop characters in the space of 6 pages :D
