I was so excited when I saw this vid on the program. I've been looking so much forward to seeing it, and it was even better than I dared hope! The song is such a great fit, lyrically of course but also style-wise, and I love the way you used the music to divide the vid up into sweet quiet vs. harsh and bleak -- so powerful! And the ending gave me chills. This movie is one of my all-time favorites, and this vid really does it justice.

If you remember at all, I would dearly love a nudge when you have a download available.

Yay! Thanks for your comments! There were so many great scenes that worked well with the fast pace of the song. The movie is so unabashedly in your face and visually stunning that it was hard not to use everything.

I've been messing with different sizes and codecs trying to get the file size down. I've never vidded HD before, so I don't really know how to make it smaller. I'll definitely give a head's up when I post a download link.

Yes! I was all nostalgic too when I rewatched. I was obsessed with Claire Danes in high school. A lot of people hated on her performance, but I don't think they could have found a better Juliet.

When I showed the vid to my BFF, she jumped at the gunshot. *fist pump*
